TRAVEL ADVICE FOR TRAVELING COUPLES

Finally, time for the long-desired vacation together with your boyfriend or girlfriend has come, but actually, you are quite nervous. That’s not always easy, as you can imagine: your body has to adapt to different environments and at the same time you have to take your partner and his/her feelings into consideration.

1. PLAN THOROUGHLY TO AVOID MISUNDERSTANDINGS

Planning thoroughly includes budget of the travel following with the other details such as accommodation, transport, food, etc. and what are the activities you are looking for and the activities found in the destination. The cities which are to be visited or nature which are to be explored.

 2. GIVE EACH OTHER SPACE.

As much as you may love someone, hanging with them 24/7 is bound to be a strain at some point.  Avoid getting tired of one another by slotting in times where you get to chill out all by your lonesome.

3. EAT BEFORE YOU GET HANGRY (HUNGRY + ANGRY)

Tempers often run high when one (or both) of you are hungry.  Curb hunger (and anger) by discussing approximate meal times for the day before you head out into the world, and bring a snack that can tide you over until it’s time to chow down.

4. KEEP TRACK OF MONEY

If you’re not in a relationship where it’s pretty defined as to who pays for what (if one of you is earning way more, for example), then this is something to work out ahead of time.

 5. ALLOW YOURSELF TIME ALONE

Even a small trip to the store while they’re chilling in the hotel room can be completely legitimate. If you’re independent people, this is probably necessary to decompress.

6. BE HONEST

Just because you don’t want to ruin the vacation. If things are bugging you, tactful openness is the best policy. Being on holiday doesn’t mean that you stop being adults with needs and thoughts.

7. TRY SOMETHING NEW

Don’t say no to everything just because it sounds stupid at first or feels somehow odd. It is important to compromise and to be open for anything new. That’s the good thing about a relationship. It motivates us every day fresh to dive into the world of the partner and to try new things.

8. DO SPORTS TOGETHER

Try to do sports together on your trip. You can run, make yoga and fitness exercises almost everywhere. Even swimming and short hiking tours are sport. It would be best to do this together and motivate each other.
